Walk In Fields of Gold

I was out with the lawn tractor earlier in the week blazing a trail through the thick weeds in the back field. Our alfalfa field has been overtaken by goldenrod.
Even though I mowed a nice path...
...the girls like to go cross-country!
Both were bathed and trimmed today, and I'm hoping they still look good on Tuesday when Rui and family arrive (Mont'Alves Shelties and Laekenois, Portugal).
See ya!

They are beautiful, as always! Bunny looks like she's growing back really well, she looks like the fluffy Poodle she should be. And Barbie is so big! How old is she now?

Okay I've got a bunch of questions for you... What blade do you use on their faces? I use a #10 reverse on Addie but it grows back so quickly. What shampoo/conditioner do you use? They are so white and their coats stand up so nicely! And what dryer do you use? I wish I could get Addie's coat that straight.

Also. What kind of camera do you use? I've been thinking about investing in a nicer camera. Is yours a DSLR?

Rui: Look forward to taking the gang out with you guys.

Natalie: Yes, finally Bunny is looking and feeling plush. She look better to me, and I think she feels better about herself too!
Barbie is now 6 1/2 months old. She really isn't that tall, I'm hoping she has some growing to do still.
I am using the Wahl Cromado cordless clipper, and so it doesn't have blade numbers. I am one notch from the closest cut...so maybe it is equivalent to a 30 or 15. It is pretty close, but my girls can take it. I shave their faces about every two weeks.
We have a Nikon D300 digital SLR. We have several different lenses we use. Yesterday I had the 70-300 mm zoom, and usually use the 15 mm (wide angle) to 85 mm lens. I really enjoy taking pictures; a hobby I had as a teen and now just getting back to it.

Hi Natalie,

I forgot...I use Mane and Tail Shampoo and Coat Handler conditioner.

I blow them dry with my metro hand held. Both had a hair dryer with heat at the end for their ears and top knot. I am hoping to get a stand dryer eventually...

Bunny's looking so much more like her pretty Foo-self :). Super pics!
